KARC was founded in 1986 and owns and operates a 2-meter repeater, KØEI, on the frequency 147.345 Mhz Receive, 147.945 Mhz Transmit, +0.6 Mhz Offset, 162.2 PL.  a 440 repeater on 444.300 Mhz and a 2-meter packet node “KFQ” on 145.09 Mhz.

The 440 repeater is a dual mode 440 repeater that does both analog and digital DMR automatically.

The mission of KARC is to promote amateur radio in the Ozarks and to contribute our services and communications abilities for the good of the local community and the area in which we live.  The purpose of amateur radio is to advance communication and technical skills and to promote international goodwill.
